Leah Wandera is a Project Management and Social Justice Advocacy professional. Leah has eight years of professional experience working in project management and gender justice advocacy with the Non-Governmental Sector. She has partnered and worked on advocacy issues with various organizations in other countries like Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Nebraska state in the USA. Also, she has worked with various organizations in different capacities including a Global Mission Fellow under the General Board of Global Ministries for The United Methodist Church, as the Acting CEO at Hope Foundation for African Women, and as an Administrative Assistant at Drew University-Internal Students’ Services office. Leah also serves on different organizational boards such as the Methodist Federation for Social Action, Diakonia World Federation-Justice Executive Committee, and as the African Region Coordinator for the Deaconess and Home Missioner (the love, justice, and service movement in The UMC). Leah holds a Bachelor in Science- Project Management Degree from Moi University, Kenya. She also holds a Masters in Divinity-Social Justice Advocacy from Drew University. Currently, Leah is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA.
