Lancer Wao is a Communications and public relations professional. Lancer has over five years of professional experience working in communications within the Non-Governmental Sector. She has worked as the Communications and Knowledge Management Consultant at Kenya Water and Sanitation and Civil Society Network (KEWASNET) and Communications, Advocacy, and Outreach Officer at Hope Foundation for African Women. Also, she is a passionate writer on development issues ranging from women empowerment, water, sanitation, and climate adaption. Her articles have been published on platforms like the Standard Newspaper, Kenya. Lancer received a degree in Communications and Journalism from Moi University, Eldoret, in 2016. She is currently pursuing Master’s in Communication Studies, Moi University, Kenya.
